Sudden Blackout in Many Parts of S´pore

Many parts of Singapore was hit by a blackout at around 10 PM on Tuesday night. Readers called up The Straits Times Interactive at 10.15 PM to say that the power failure affected areas like Bishan, Serangoon, Joo Chiat, Bukit Batok, Jurong, Queenstown, Clementi, and even Holland Village. But Toa Payoh, Pasir Ris and Woodlands were not affected by the power outage which lasted about 30 minutes.
