20 Rail Cars Derail In Baker County
Investigators are trying to learn why 20 CSX railroad cars jumped the tracks in Baker County Saturday night. No one was hurt and no homes were damaged, but rescuers from Baker and Duval counties rushed to the scene after early reports that some of the cars were carrying hazardous chemicals. It turned out that the train had dropped off the chemicals just before the derailment. Workers with cranes righted the cars and repaired the track to get trains moving through the area again.
