The Sun's shadow reached my baseline at 1:08PM on 9/6 in VA - 8 minutes LATE. (via the old method) True noon occurred at 12:46PM. Thus it took the Sun's shadow 22 minutes to move 10 degrees - 3 more than yesterday. This could possibly indicate a slowing of the Earth's rotation.

The sun was at "noon" July 3 and at the same position today about 9 minutes late. Where as up until the last few days, it had been 21 min late in Missouri.
