June 26 NOON in Quebec : 5 minutes LATE

I live in Quebec and I placed a marker for the sun position at noon on the 19th of June. When I came back from our St-Jean Batiste holyday, I couldn't watch my marker because it was cloudy. But today (26th), I realized that the sun was late by about 5 minutes due to the fact that the longest day of the year was the 21st, days should get shorter therefor should pass my marker earlier not later in time.

Per the Navy’s OneDay site, the sunset for Madison should not have changed since before the June 21 Solstice. We found it to be a full minute later, and a very angry red color. Blood red, first time viewed here.
