- Sep 9 SunRISE in Kansas : 35 minutes LATE [1E]
- While watching the weather this morning it was pointed out by the weatherman that the view of sunrise we were seeing was live. Indeed,
it was 6:52 and the sun was still rising over the horizon as confirmed by my own "live" view. Note: The sun was in the process of
completing full sunrise. Not surprising, my old Farmers Almanac Book publishes rise time for September 8 at 6:17 a.m. That is a 35
minute late sunrise. So much for the 45 minute consistency I've been getting. Some how we closed the difference by 10 minutes
(wobble/tilting?). The weather people also seem to be going out of their way to let the viewers know that the current forecasted
temperatures are right where they should be. Interesting, I think we are having more 80 degree days in a row in September than we had
in August. This morning it is 50 degrees (the numbers in my area is being shown as 6 degrees higher via the news) which is closer to late
October weather. September in Kansas/Missouri is not this cool.
- Sep 9 NOON in Virginia : 8 minutes LATE [0L]
