French Photo
on Apr 5, 2003

I put into the photo directory a picture taken last friday in France, near Aldebaran. The presumed Planet X complex is circled, and quite visible. The only thing I can say is that I fully trust the person (Stephane) who took the picture, and that for me it is the first proof.

My name is Stéphane. I am the person who made the photo that Veronica sent to you. This photo is taken next to Taurus 83.

The specs are:
- site : St-Sulpice-le-Guéretois 23
  (ses environs)
- numerical camera SONY F717
- zoom 20x
- aperture 2.4
- time delay : 5 s (pour ce cliché)
- resolution : 2560x1920
- coding : TIF
- volume : 14403 Ko

Re the French photo and his digital camera specs for the Planet X core photograph taken on April 7, 2003.

Zoom narrows the field view
  1 x = 37.8 deg
  3 x = 12.6 deg
 20 x = 1.78 deg

Analysis of his data yielded:
- his camera was a 5 megapixel version
- at 20 x zoom, he saw 1.89 degrees height
- the minimum Planet X corpus diameter was 23 pixels
- 23 pixels * 1.89 deg * (3600 arcsec/deg) / 1920
                = 81.5 arc sec

Planet X core is 31,708 miles (same as Uranus)
Planet X Corpus = Px + Swirl dust = 4 x core = 126,832 miles

Distance of Px from earth on 4/7/03:
  Distance = 206,283 * 126,832 / ArcSecSize = 0.321 billion miles
(which is wrong since Px is delayed for May 15th)
  or
If distance is from CHART, for 4/7/03, distance is 0.701 bil miles from sun or
     .701+0.093 = 0.794 bil miles from earth

Then corpus size = Dist * ArcSec / 206283 = 794,000,000 * 81.5 / 206283 = 313,700 miles
Which is 313700 / 31708 = 9.89 times the size of the PX core. (It should be 4 times,
WHICH IMPLIES the dust around Px is hiding the PX true Corpus size, which is 4 times
the core size to make it equal in visual size to our moon on passage at 14 million miles
from earth).
Our moon is 2156 miles in diameter at dist 239,000 miles
Size of Moon = 31 ArcMin = @Atan (2156 / 239,000) * 360 * 60 / 2Pi
where inverse tangent (ATAN) is in radians
    and 360 / 2 * 3.14 converts it to degrees
ArcSecSize of moon = 31 x 60 = ? 206283 * 126832 / 14,000,000
    = 1860 = ? 1868.81 arc sec (CHECK !)
Conclusion: The PX Corpus tends to be hidden by the dust cloud as it approaches earth from afar, but it separates from most of the dust once it is near earth (and the sun ). This effect is due to PX slowing and solar winds dust dissipation . Getting an arcsecsize fix on PX requires what the French Photographer gave us:
  • zoom amount
  • pixel size of photograph ( before cropping )
