Yes I was, not as clear as the photo though, also no clouds were in the sky last night.

You have a very bright object. I note that the colour spectrum on this image has red on the left which I understand is opposite to the Sundog effect. It also has the object at about 10:00, which was the direction the May 16 sun flare was headed.
